Anderson asserted in her autobiography “Love Pamela” that the occurrence happened in 1991 when she was 23. This was a shock to say the least, given that Allen denied that anything of the sort had happened.
Naturally, this could have led to Allen holding a grievance against her, and yet, he appeared to show anything but that. In his comments, he said: “She was a great coworker, I’ll tell you that. She’s a fun girl. Everybody loved her, but ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way.”
This begs the question: why would this claim be made now? Well, Anderson is currently doing media rounds for her book and Netflix documentary named “Pamela, a love story”.
On Monday, 30th January 2023, the star was snapped at the premiere of her documentary, dressed up like the character of “Baywatch”, Casey Jean Parker, in a close-fitting red dress.
And she just so happened to be there alongside her former husband, Tommy Lee. Not only that, but she was also accompanied by her two sons, as it was a family affair. As such, her revelations about Allen have certainly gone some way to publicize her projects.
The fans on social media questioned the claims made by Anderson. This was on the basis that the timing suggested she was doing this as a publicity stunt since she had failed to disclose this in the years gone by.
One person wrote: “She is doing the typical Hollywood publicity stunt when a movie, book, or tour is forthcoming,” while another person stated: “She’s ancient news that nobody cares about she’s just trying to get some traction at the end of the road. The truth hurts.”
