This certainly sounds like it’s getting serious. There’s a new report that says a petition has been making its rounds on the internet to strip both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their royal titles. And apparently, it’s already been signed by more than a thousand people. Here’s what you need to know.
When Harry and Meghan decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family, they basically lost everything except for their royal titles.

Well, seeing how they’ve dragged the royal family’s name and honor through the mud several times in the last few months, some critics believe that more needs to be done about their behavior.
That’s why a lot of people believe that Harry shouldn’t be called a ‘prince’ anymore and that Queen Elizabeth should strip the couple from their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
The petition, on Change.org, has been started by Lady Colin Campbell and has been signed over 32,000 times.
Lady Colin says her decision to start the petition was a simply one. She said, “The purpose is to invite Prince Harry to voluntarily ask The Queen to put his royal style, titles and rank into abeyance. Thereby freeing him from the diplomatic, political and constitutional constraints that are an inevitable part of royal rank.”
Lady C added, “And further freeing him from the constitutional conflicts which his beliefs are creating, with all their implications at home and abroad. In particular in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, where his articulated beliefs are in open conflict with the accepted tenets of both the United Kingdom and American Constitutions.”
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the petition.
