Chris Noth has found himself in further bother, after a third woman came forward and accused him of sexual assault.
Third Woman Accuses Chris Noth Of Sexual Assault
The former ‘Sex and the City’ star recently denied allegations of sexual assault, after two women by the name of Zoe and Lily came forward. In response, Chris maintained that any conduct was consensual.
And yet, his cause has not been helped in the aftermath of those initial claims. Just recently, Zoe Lister-Jones came forward and suggested how he was drunk on the set of Law and Order.
In addition, she also stated how Chris’ behaviour at a nightclub, which he was the owner of, towards certain women was also inappropriate.
That is why this third allegation looks to be the nail in his coffin. According to the Daily Beast, the woman has been identified under another name (Ava) for the purposes of safety.
Ava has claimed that she had been assaulted in 2010, when she was 18 at a restaurant. She argued that she was working at Da Marino as a hostess and pianist.
Then during the conclusion of her duties, Ava alleged that they had gotten into a conversation about her career. Thereafter, Ava claims that Chris was “pressing me onto his erection,” then saying: “I love Canadian women.”
Once again, Chris has rejected these claims. In an official statement on behalf of Chris, his representative said: “The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction.
“As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line.” Although an investigation is still needed in order to determine the veracity of these accusations, the very fact of the matter is that the number of people coming forward does not look good for Chris.
And given that we are living through a cancel culture, there is an automatic presumption of guilty until innocent given the number of people who have been cancelled recently.
That is why the actor will have a hard time convincing people that he is innocent of these claims. As a consequence, this scandal may end up finishing his career for good.
