‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to start off the new week in style.
There’s plenty going down and we’ve for the spoilery goodies for the week of Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5 to prove it.
After demerging Chancellor-Winters, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) won’t feel like celebrating.
In fact, they’ll feel like they let Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) down.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will want to help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) deal with his family issues.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will reignite their relationship.
We’ve got plenty of popcorn ready, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5: Not in the mood
It looks like the demerge vote will go as expected with everyone but Jill voting to separate the companies.
Jill won’t be happy since it was profitable, and she’ll lash out at Billy for getting what he wanted instead of guarding her interests.
This will leave Billy and Lily feeling down despite their win, and it’ll open up a chance for them to get closer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think that’s been the plan behind this storyline, and for good reason.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5: Comfortable
With nowhere else to turn, Adam and Chelsea will fall into old habits when they need comforting. Unfortunately for their other halves, this will mean with each other.
It was bound to happen with all the stress they’ve been under, and it’s coinciding perfectly with Billy and Lily working together again.
Now will Adam and Chelsea continue down this road or put a stop to it? That’s the big question.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5: Jack’s support system
With the Abbott family in disarray for various reasons, Jack will be struggling.
We don’t think he’ll be looking to get back into popping pills, though the temptation will be there.
So when he’s having lunch with Nikki Newman, he’ll tell her it’s been rough and she’ll want to be there for him.
He won’t want to burden her while she’s focusing on her sobriety, but she’ll feel she has a huge debt to pay.
She’ll want to be there like he was for her, and this will open a can of worms for Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
Victor’s revenge scheme is happening because of his insecurities with Jack helping where he couldn’t.
And when Nikki hears Jack’s troubles and eventually learns what Victor is up to, it could be the end of their marriage.
To be fair, if it is it’s been a long time coming. Victor’s shown time and again he views Nikki and his family as possessions and pawns and that’s about it.
Will this be what finally breaks them up? Let us know in the comments below.
