‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that things are soon coming to a head between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). What will the outcome be?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Definite Separation
Y&R’s Kyle Abbott decided that he needed Summer Newman to move out of the Abbott Mansion. He decided that they should have a formal separation. He came to this decision because of Summer’s dishonesty.
After the “death” of her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and the arrest of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for murder, Summer found out her mother was alive.
Phyllis begged Summer to keep her presence a secret. Phyllis was in a load of trouble because she faked her death, and she killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense.
She asked Summer to keep the secret that she is alive until she could figure out how to return to Genoa City without ending up in prison. Summer agreed to do so but struggled with keeping it a secret from Kyle.
When Kyle found out that Summer had kept all this to herself, he was furious and hurt. She lied to him, and she let his mother languish in prison when she was innocent.
The hardest part is that she chose her mother over him and that is not the way it should be for a married couple. He believes Summer isn’t really sorry for her actions but it only sorry for getting caught.

Kyle has drowned his sorrow in the glass and also in the arms of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). He has shared her bed and she has even offered him a job at Newman Media.
He is really enjoying his time with her and doesn’t seem to be missing Summer too much. This is a thrill to keep him occupied and from being too absorbed in the pain of his failed marriage.
Summer has had a few clues that something is up between Kyle and Audra. But soon they are going to have it out. Summer will challenge Kyle in public, in the Athletic Club.
Will he come clean about his relationship with Audra or will he lie to Summer? What do you think? Does this mean Kyle and Summer’s marriage is over for good?
