‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is ticked off about his sister Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) latest move, but will he do anything about it? Will he take some action to either protect Jabot or to derail her? Or will he just complain?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Problem with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)
Y&R’s Ashley Abbott doesn’t trust Diane Jenkins at all. She believes that Diane is trouble for Jack. Diane has hurt him before and he has just fallen in love with her anyway. Ashley thinks that Diane will make trouble at Jabot as well. She loathes Diane and wants her out of their lives.
Jack has asked Diane to marry him, and she has accepted. He also gave her a job at Marchetti and then has promoted her to the position of Chief Talent Officer at Jabot. This is a board position, which gives Diane a lot of power in the family company.
Ashley suspected that Diane would be after a job like this. She felt even more strongly that she would have to do something to oust Jack. Ashley thought she would need to stage a coup against Jack with the help of the board of Jabot.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A New Plan
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) finally convinced Ashley that there is another way to get back at Jack and Diane, which is not as messy and doesn’t involve in-fighting at Jabot. He has convinced Ashley to start a brand-new company with him.
The two of them are going to build a company from the ground up, using their knowledge, experience, and combined resources. Their new company will be in direct competition with Jabot and may end up destroying the family company.
Jack is furious to read the press release about this new venture. He confronts them but especially directs his ire at Tucker McCall. Jack loves his sister and sees all of this dissension being caused by Tucker McCall. McCall tells Jack that this is all his sister’s doing and there is no way to deter her.
