‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is facing some serious temptation. What will he decide to do and how will he handle the situation?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Joining Forces
Billy has always sided with his brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the fight with Ashley Abott (Eileen Davidson). Ashley really hates Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and thinks she is going to hurt Jack and destroy Jabot. She wants to do everything she keep Diane from destroying her family’s company.
Jack has dug his heels in as far as Diane goes. He got her to move in with him and then he asked her to marry him. Then he gave her a job at Jabot as Chief Talent Officer. They are married, and Jack isn’t going to let anyone do anything to Diane.
Billy isn’t necessarily thrilled about some of the decisions Jack has made, but he also does not agree with Ashley’s personal vendetta against Diane. Diane and Jack approach him about being a Trojan horse in regard to Ashley.
They want him to pretend to be on her side and then let them know what Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are planning. Billy agrees to do it because he wants to do all he can to protect Jabot and his family’s legacy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Facing Temptation
Billy started to agree with Ashley and show disdain for Diane and for Jack’s choices about Diane. As he did so, his “act” was really convincing. Ashley and Tucker ask for his help and support. If he will give it to them, then he will be given the top position at Jabot (after they take it over).
He is facing a temptation and a dilemma at this point. The job at CEO of his family’s company is really enticing. He has been filling the role of number two at the company and has been having to support Jack in this big mess of Diane.
While he has been just pretending to be on Ashley’s side, it is really tempting to really join her so that he can take over at Jabot.
