‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) lost someone they loved.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cole Took His Last Breath After Kissing Victoria
Y&R viewers watched Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) take his last breath in the July 3rd episode of the soap.
Victoria got to share one last kiss with him as he slipped away. Unfortunately, Cole’s death robs Victoria and her daughter of making up for lost time together as a family.
The three of them were separated for years. Cole and Victoria didn’t even learn that their baby girl, whom they had named Eve, wasn’t really dead until a couple of years ago.
Victoria and Claire believed there would be more time. Sadly, Cole succumbed to his illness, leaving Claire without the father she had grown to admire and Victoria without a love interest.
While Victoria needs some time to grieve the loss of Cole, she’s still a bright, beautiful woman with her whole future ahead of her.
We noticed that while Cole was in the hospital fighting for his life, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) offered both Victoria and Claire some comfort.
Nate and Victoria had an honest conversation, and their connection is still very real. Nate took care of her and made sure she ate. Victoria admitted her past mistakes with him, and Nate was kind and understanding as usual.
We could see her rekindling her romance with Nate at some point when Victoria is ready to move on. While Nate is currently in a relationship with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’s off in France putting the moves on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nate And Claire’s Respective Relationships May Not Last Much Longer
We don’t foresee either Claire’s relationship with Kyle or Nate’s relationship with Audra lasting much longer. Kyle and Audra may soon give in to temptation.
Enter Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Holden was tasked with finding out information about a “hit list” of people in Genoa City.
Cane hired Holden to report back to him everything he learns about these people, and one of those people is Claire.
However, Holden will end up falling for Claire, which will complicate his mission. Holden helped Claire when she was suffering from a panic attack.
He’s also been a supportive shoulder for her to cry on since she can’t get hold of Kyle. She shared her feelings with Holden, who had also grieved his father when he died of cancer.
Holden has been understanding and supportive, while Kyle is in France playing games with Audra. It’s challenging to imagine Claire forgiving Kyle if he cheats on her with Audra, given the fact that her father just died.
In France, Audra and Kyle pitch their perfume war to Cane, who seemed intrigued. We should mention that Cane has cameras hidden all around his private estate.
Cane may be interested in Kyle and Audra for his benefit. He may even be the one to expose Kyle and Audra’s lingering attraction to each other.
When that happens, Holden will be right there to catch Claire again when she falls. He may be the perfect person to heal Claire’s broken heart.
