‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep the ball rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Wednesday, August 27 looks like it’s going to be an interesting character building one.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will continue to make waves, leaving some frustrated, others emotional, and more confused.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be furious with Cane for firing her and then ghosting her.

When Nick Newman (Joshua Morrrow) sees her and criticizes Cane she’ll blast him for his hypocrisy after lying about wanting to be his friend.

She’ll refuse his help and we doubt things will get better for her any time soon.

Cane will pay Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a visit and tell him he’s dropping the plan to take over everything.

He could if he wants, but he’s focusing on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and his family.

This will leave Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wondering if he’s setting Billy up.

As for Lily, she’s going to become emotional when she watches his video to their kids. Looks like he may be making headway.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, August 27: Nick walks into a buzzsaw

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Phyllis will be furious with Cane for dropping everything just like that.

She put all of her eggs in his basket and now is left with nothing. Except revenge, but that’ll come soon.

For now, she’ll satisfy herself by tearing into Nick when he tries to comfort her and badmouths Cane.

She’ll call him out on wanting to be Cane’s friend the day before. She’ll point out Nick knows she wouldn’t have taken a job he would’ve offered and she’ll find a way to bounce back.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, August 27: Cane shakes Billy and Lily

After Cane visits Billy and tells him what’s going on, he’ll point out Billy can still go after Chancellor, but Cane is out.

This will leave Billy and Sally wondering if he’s setting Billy up for the Newmans or if he’s distracting the Newmans.

They’ll want to dig in and find out more before making a move.

As for Lily, it’ll take a call from Cane to convince her to watch the video he made for their kids.

She denies loving him, but she still does and she’ll tear up when watching him come clean.

Is Cane being legit about wanting to focus on Lily and his family or simply following orders from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?
