‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers suggests that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is rethinking the plan to acquire McCall Unlimited from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). The question is, how will her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) respond?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Different Plans
Victor Newman and Victoria Newman have had their sights on Tucker’s business. They heard that he was struggling with debt, and they were interested in buying his debt.
If they were able to do that, then they would control his business and could take it over. As they were getting things in order to buy his debt, he came to them and offered to sell his company to Newman Enterprises.
Before they could buy it, someone mysteriously purchased their debt. It turned out to be Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who wants Tucker to sell to his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
She has told him that he may not sell to Newman. Both Victor and Victoria have wanted McCall for different reasons. Victor wants to acquire it so that his son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) can return to the Newman family business.
He wants to put Adam in charge of the company. Victoria has never been interested in that and wants to dismantle McCall and merge it into Newman in various ways.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Changing Her Mind
Victoria discusses business with Tucker yet again and asks him to put his cards on the table. After their conversation, Victoria expresses that it is better if Newman gives up on trying to acquire McCall’s company after all.
Maybe she is thinking that a fight with her father isn’t worth it. Maybe she sees that Newman is never going to acquire McCall, now that Tucker is intent upon selling to Devon. At any rate, she says she is thinking about tabling this idea and looking to some other better investments.
