‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is setting up his children. He is not going crazy, but he is pretending to be. He is planning all of this to test his children and see if they are loyal and trustworthy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Not Satisfied
Newman Enterprises is a powerhouse of a company built by Victor Newman. He handed the main leadership over to his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). She is as astute a business leader as her father.
The one thing that Victoria and her father disagree on is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor has always wanted to rebuild his relationship with Adam and have him work at Newman. But Adam has a serious chip on his shoulder. He has hurt Victor repeatedly. He has made moves to try to take over Newman Media and do what he wants.
Victoria thinks that Adam is a terrible person and needs to be out of their lives. She is frustrated when Adam keeps getting more chances at Newman.
Adam has decided to change and has started working at Newman as Nate Hasting’s (Sean Dominic) assistant. He is doing a great job for him, but why? Is it just another ploy to get his way in the company? Does he have a bigger agenda in the works?
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been the most dependable child, but he has been in and out of the picture. He did work for Newman as the co-COO with his mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas), but Victoria made him step out and gave Nate the job. Nick started working with his ex-wife, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Nick is more supportive of Victoria, especially since Adam destroyed Nick’s relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) by kissing her and never hesitating to interrupt their relationship.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Distrust
For some reason, Victor really doesn’t trust his children. He decided to shake his company up to test them. He demoted Victoria to COO of Newman Enterprises and took the top spot for himself. He moved Nikki to be CEO of Newman Media.
Now he is pretending to be mentally unstable. This concerns his children who feel concerned for him and for the stability of the company. He wants to see if they will try to remove him. Why does he feel so threatened and why does he need to test them? Who do you think will disappoint him?
