The episode for Tuesday, May 20 looks like an interesting character development episode as we get into some scheming.
It looks like a fight over Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is brewing. It’s one sided at the moment as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will show her jealousy.
Nick will call her out on it, but we expect things to escalate as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) needs him more. It’s only a matter of time until she falls for him, and we’re off!
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is going to put her plan into motion to win Victor Newman (Eric Breaden) over.
Her idea isn’t to just throw a party, but to ask Victor to help her plan a party for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
She’s not giving up and we admire her for it, but we have a feeling her idea will incense Victor even more.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious how Sharon and Phyllis’ new friendship will translate into this love triangle.
The writers spent months moving Nick and Sharon together only to have them agree they’re better off as friends. At least, that’s Nick’s point of view. Sharon, not so much.
She’ll be testy as Phyllis knows Nick loves to play hero and Sharon think she’ll play it up to win him over.
Nick will call her out for being jealous and Sharon will deny it, but we give it two to three weeks tops until Phyllis falls hard for Nick and the replay games begin.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, May 20: Claire’s plan is bound to fail
Claire’s idea for a party to win Victor over cries a huge blowup, but how and why was the question.
Well, it looks like she’ll ask Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to get Nikki a great gift to show her how special she is. Claire thinks this will win Victor over.
Instead, we expect it’ll incense him even more. First, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) saved Nikki when he couldn’t and now Kyle will try to win her over in his eyes.
Nothing like a fragile ego to make things interesting. Wonder if we’ll get a cake fight?
