The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, May 14 find Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) both worried about their family’s safety as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) settles in to his old life in Genoa City again. Also, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is setting new boundaries with Summer Newman (Hunter King) while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) comes face to face with Adam for the first time in years.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 14: Adam Sends Off Worrying Signals, Can He Be Trusted?
It begins at Newman enterprises, where Adam takes a look around his father Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office. Victor apologizes to Adam for the way he acted towards him in Las Vegas. Adam says he’s pretty impressed by the empire that Victor has built but doesn’t remember any of it. Later on, Victoria and her mother Nikki are in Victor’s office but wonder what’s going on as both Victor and Adam are no longer there.

At Nick’s house, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) arrives. Nick tells her that if Adam wants Christian back, he will have to speak to him first. Sharon thinks that Adam will only stick around for a week until he disappears again but asks Nick if he can have an open mind towards him and this entire situation he’s being put in.
Summer is at Jabot and clearly hungover. Kyle asks her about what she did the previous night. They get into an argument until Kyle tells her that he knows all about her plan. He thinks that Summer is creating reasons for them to spend more time together for work purposes when in actuality she just wants him away from Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Kyle warns her that it’s not going to work. Kyle even goes as far as accusing Summer for even manipulating her father Jack (Peter Bergman). The only reason why she’s still at Jabot is because she wants to be with Kyle. Jack is concerned about the two of them working together.
Victor and Adam arrive at Nick’s house. It’s the first time that the brothers have seen each other in years. They agree that things are awkward before going over what happened the night of the explosion. Nick says that he would have tried to save him, but knew it was too late. He also tells Adam that both Sharon and Victor seem to believe his new story, but he doesn’t. Nick also says that he feels conflicted about all of this but is willing to give Adam a chance. He warns him to never hurt their family again.

Victor then drops off Adam at the tackhouse and tells him that Sharon lives nearby. Adam can’t help but wonder what Victor is wanting from him. Victor tells him that he’s missed his son and that he would want to work with him again. Sharon arrives. Adam admits that he is feeling overwhelmed and that the only person he can trust is Sharon.
At Sharon’s house, Adam can’t help but look shocked at everything he sees. Sharon thinks it’s something, but Adam insists that it’s not. He says that he just needs a breath of fresh air.
Later on, Kyle meets Lola for a mid-day date. She thinks that Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and her baby will be okay. The two talk about being together until Kyle suggests they move in together.
At the tackhouse, Adam opens a bag full of cash. He then sends a text message to a mysterious person that his plan is going smoothly in Genoa City.
