‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.

This looks like it’s going to be a fun character building episode as proving oneself is the theme.

Between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will feel the need to prove herself.

To do so, she’s going to attempt to fire Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). We don’t think she can do that, but it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is going to deal with having Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) haunt her.

He’ll claim to be what she needs to get better instead of her meds. There’s plenty of possibilities with this angle.

Add in that Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will admit to her parents that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) caught her drinking and it gets better. She’ll acknowledge that she did it to impress Faith, but will it end there?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 6: Lily goes it alone

Well, Lily firing Billy isn’t something ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expected.

It looks like she’s going to be bullied into it in a way. Not directly, but Nate will goad her about breaking Devon Winters (Bryton James)’s heart and dream of his family working together.

Victor stopping by and warning her Billy will run Chancellor into the ground will make up her mind. She’s looking to prove she can handle herself and isn’t a “weak woman.”

So, she’ll tell Billy Victor isn’t the problem, he is and fire him. Billy will be in shock, but we have a feeling he was expecting it.

Given his position, she may not be able and that’ll open up new storyline angles.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Cameron’s helping Sharon?

Sharon’s hallucination of Cameron doesn’t surprise us, and neither does him saying he’s the one she knows can help her.

Sharon remembers him as a manipulator that loved her, so that’s what she’s imagining him as. But could he be right?

Sharon went off her meds because she didn’t like how they made her feel. Maybe there was more to it. Maybe her self-conscious was trying to help her cope with losing Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes)?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 6: Trying to impress

With everyone trying to prove or find themselves, Lucy will take her turn at bat.

Faith will think she’s sick at first, then she’ll call her out for drinking. Lucy will admit she took the alcohol from her mom because she wanted to appear older and impress Faith.

Faith will take them home, and while she tells Sharon about it, Lucy will tell her parents.

Looks like she’s the most grown up in this episode. It should be interesting to see the fallout from everyone’s decisions.

Is Cameron’s ghost really trying to help Sharon? Let us know in the comments below.
