‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling.

Tuesday, August 20 is going to be a fun episode as there’s going to be plenty of blowback going around.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t going to like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s plan. We expect some pushback, but will it be anything more than mild?

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will reach an impasse.

Lily will admit to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that her plan to oust Billy isn’t going well. Billy will share his decision to fire Lily with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

We have a feeling Billy will come out looking the worse for this and that could end up being bad for him.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Nikki’s not a fan of Victor’s plan

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have been waiting for Nikki to find out what Victor’s up to. We’re not disappointed as she’s against him using Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)’s illness against Billy.

Even worse, giving Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) free reign to use it. It’ll make it public, and Victor’s defense will be that Billy hasn’t gone to visit her.

Nikki won’t be happy about being a pawn yet again and injuring Jill in anyway, and she’ll defend Billy as father of their grandchildren.

We doubt Victor will be moved, and we’re waiting to see how she’ll react when she learns his real target is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And all because he saved Nikki when Victor couldn’t.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Too little trust

Billy has a history of making bad decisions that have cost him and those he cares about. He’s a river boat gambler who follows his instincts for better or worse.

After having an argument with Lily, he’ll admit he doesn’t think she trusts him and will want to know her real plan.

She’ll balk and they’ll separate to their respective corners when Chance some in.

They’ll eventually find their way to GCAC where Lily will talk with Nate. She’ll admit it’s harder to push Billy out of the company than she thought it’d be.

Billy and Chance will share drinks at Society where Billy will share his decision to fire Lily and make plans to see her to tell her.

We expect Chance will be in a curious position as he’ll view all of the negative things about Billy are true. He’s not in position to save Lily, butt maybe he’ll be able to find a way?

Will Nikki allow Victor to follow through with his plan? Let us know in the comments below.
