‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) facade is crumbling. He has claimed to be a changed man, but the strain of change is getting to the guy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Trying to Tempt a Tease
Tucker has been trying to win Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) affection for a while now. He is aching for her and it’s beginning to be too much for him. She seems to show some interest, so he keeps making moves. When he does, she keeps blocking him. He is feeling pretty desperate.
Ashley bought all of the debt that Tucker was carrying, so now she controls the shots for his business. He says that he doesn’t need his business anymore. All he needs is Ashley, his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and his grandson Dominic (River & Rainn Ware).
Part of not needing his business anymore is an effort to make Ashley see that he is a changed man. He is trying to show her that he is not only motivated by wealth and success. She doesn’t believe that he has changed though and keeps biding her time with him.
She has ordered him to sell his business to Devon. He must do this, or he will not have a future with Ashley. She has told him that is not negotiable. When he whines that he hasn’t been successful, she demands that he make it happen.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Same Old, Same Old
He has been trying to convince Devon to buy his company, but Devon has decided to bury the hatchet with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and return to his position at Chancellor-Winters. He is not interested in running a “side company.”
Tucker tries to explain why it is a good move for Devon, but Devon turns him down. He does not want to get involved with Tucker professionally and is not that interested in a personal relationship with him either. When Devon says the conversation is over, Tucker erupts.
He shows his “true colors” again by exploding at Devon. This reaction will definitely not encourage Devon to rebuild any kind of relationship with Tucker in the future. It shows that he hasn’t really changed as much as he says he has and that he is still controlled by his emotions.
