‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are here and we’re all set to get this celebratory episode going with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’re celebrating Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)’s 40 years on the show as this episode will enter on her looking back at her past relationships while she tries to work through Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) not being in love with her.
That alone is a huge flip off to fans who haven’t been happy about the way the couple were ripped apart after the actor left the show in 2020.
Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 2: Moving on
Christine is going to have an emotional time as she struggles to come to grips with her husband falling out of love with her and now being lost in the wind.
It’s not going to help when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) comes across her and does everything she can to twist the knife in Cricket’s heart by openly mocking her while offering relationship advice.
What ‘Young and the Restless’ are going to enjoy is watching Phyllis continue to play the victim as she’s complain she wants peace and Cricket won’t have it.
It’ll be a cool way to set up Phyllis getting ready to turn into something far worse than she was when no one will buy her self righteous act and that should lead to some fun moments down the road.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 2: Lauren offers some solace
While this episode is based on Crickett, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will play an important role as we doubt she’ll believe Phyllis’ tripe, and when she learns that Paul ditched Cricket.
They sit and chat, and in the process of catching up we expect Lauren will offer the idea that Michael Baldwin (Cristian LeBlanc) may be interested in working with her gain.
This and she and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian)’s rekindling relationship feels like they’re going to keep Cricket around for a while and she’ll play a larger role going forward, and with Phyllis roaming around doing everything she can to antagonize her.
If this is more than just a casual tease of what could be, there’s some fun storylines that could happen in the near future, and we may even get a couple of twists instead of the copy and paste type of storytelling we’ve grown accustomed to over the last few years.
