‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling and have some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Thursday, July 24 looks like it’s going to be a fun one with some bad decisions and slips.

They’ll all lead to making Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)’s life miserable for a time.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 24: Nick Gets Injured While Attacking a Guard; Is Carter a Red Herring?

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will succeed in picking the lock. But there will be a guard and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will go on the offensive.

He’ll get the upper hand, but he’ll be injured after being thrown into a rusty crate and cutting his side. Since it’s popular in soaps lately, we expect he’ll develop sepsis.

There will be a hint on who murdered Damian King (Jermaine Rivers). Or maybe it’ll be a red herring?

Carter (Vincent Stalba) will let it slip that whoever told Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) he put the knife back under the sink is lying.

The thing is, neither Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or Chance mentioned anything about the knife being under the sink.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, July 24: Nick’s down and out

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Nick will be hurt. It’s beyond predictable at this point.

He’s upset and views being locked up as a crime to make it easier to set up him. So, when Sharon gets the door open, he’ll attack the guard.

They’ll scuffle and Nick will be thrown into a rusty crate and cut his side. He’ll subdue the guard, but he’ll be badly hurt and Sharon will run to get help.

This will add fuel to Victor’s fire and it’ll lead to sacrificing a red herring or a stooge.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, July 24: Carter slips up

Chance will be doing his job in talking to Cane’s employees, and Carter’s story isn’t holding up.

While he questions him, Victor will enter and try to throw his weight into things.

Carter will deny everything until he slips up when Chance says someone saw him putting the knife in Nick’s car.

This is where there’s potential for some fun. After everything that’s been laid out, if Cane planned this, there is no way he’d have two employees saying two different stories.

And Carter seems more with it than to make a simple slipup from an old dime novel where it usually took hours of questioning to break the suspect.

This makes us think it’s a false flag and he’s either a distraction or is sacrificing himself for Cane.

This way, Damian is eliminated as a rival and Cane’s free and clean.

When everyone finds out Nick was hurt, they’ll blame Cane instead of Nick for being an idiot and hurting his own defense claim.

If Carter a red herring or did he kill Damian? Let us know in the comments below.
