‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies for Thursday, December 21.
There’s a lot happening in this episode and that means there’s a good amount to unpack, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in for some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, December 21: Wanting a trade
Well, it looks like Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk)’s plan will come to light after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) discovers Claire Grace (Hailey Erin) is missing from her room at the hospital.
Victoria will be beside herself and she’ll call the police and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s security team to help find her while Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) tries to keep her as calm as possible.
The big reveal will come when a drunk Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) gets a phone call from Jordan. Jordan will taunt and mock her for being a drunk, and then offer a trade. She wants Victoria in exchange for Claire.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have no doubt Victoria will do the trade, but Victor won’t hear it and it’ll be interesting to see what he’ll come up with since Claire is his granddaughter.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, December 21: Caught red handed
Before the climactic reveal that Jordan kidnapped Claire, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will catch Nikki drinking and popping breath mints. When he confronts her, she’ll be defensive and belligerent while saying her family is none of his concern since he was fired.
So, Nate will go to see Victor and face much the same but he’ll still tell him what he saw, and when Nikki sees and hears them, she’ll run off and Victor will dismiss Nate because he’s not part of the family and so on.
Since we doubt they’ll find Nikki before Jordan’s phone call, we’re curious how things will play out and if Nikki will try to take matters into her own drunken hands.
It’ll be another bonding moment for the Newmans as they’ll continue to look past their differences to help each other, which will include ignoring Victor’s previous transgressions.
Of course, there’s also the chance this will tear the family apart even more when his adult children and wife want to do something he disagrees with and he struggles to maintain control over everyone.
