Just recently, Cane took matters into his own hands and confronted Billy about what he told Lily before she was put in jail for the accident that led to Hilary’s death. Cane admitted that he no longer blames Billy for blabbing about his kiss with Victoria and that the demise of his marriage is his own fault. And while it appears as though Cane is trying to turn all of his wrongs into rights, could it be a little too late for him? That’s what fans want to know.

In the last several weeks, Lily has made it pretty clear that she wants nothing to do with Cane or her old life in Genoa City for that matter. Spending time behind bars has changed her and she’s ready to move on. But Cane is not letting that happen. He refuses to sign her divorce papers and is doing everything he can to fight for their future.
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers that both Cane and Lily will be leaving Genoa City sooner rather than later. But whether or not they do so together or separately remains to be seen. A kiss might just be a kiss, but for Lily, it’s much more than that. Cane failed her as a husband. She’s death with so many disappointed, pain and heartache that she believes she’s better off alone.
