During their many appearances together, one of them would always come in on the other one’s shoulders. Moore said this was because St. John carried him through life and his career. It became a hilarious, yet heartwarming joke that was carried out through their entire friendship.
On the Young and the Restless, Moore’s character, Malcolm, delivers a beautifully written eulogy at Neil’s memorial service. Josh Griffith, head writer on the Young and the Restless, wrote it from the bottom of his heart. Moore had just recently met Griffin, but he said that the eulogy couldn’t have been more perfect for him and he felt like he would have written those same words about St. John himself.
"So it's sad to say good-bye but we have to celebrate all that is good in his heart. His heart was huge for so many of us. And so I wanna read to you one of the most recent and last texts I got from him." – @shemarmoore on his last text from @YandR_CBS star Kristoff St. John. pic.twitter.com/K0bRB3BfFa

Moore was happy to be back on the Young and the Restless and wishes that it could have been for happier circumstances.
We know just how sad the memorial episodes have been for us and the fans of the show. St. John had such a great impact on the show and the cast and crew. He will be forever remembered in his role as Neil and the cast has spent a lot of time with the episodes that share what a great person he was.
