‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Feeling Reignited
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally have been a couple for a while now. Nick has recently told Sally that he is in love with her. She has responded that she cares for him, but she hasn’t really matched his level of feeling.
While Nick was away for work with Kirsten Incorporated, Sally had dinner with his brother, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). They had a relationship in the past and Sally even got pregnant with Adam’s baby. They lost the baby several months ago and each of them has been grieving their loss.
During dinner, Adam and Sally shared a bottle of champagne. She was celebrating her new business venture funded by Nick, and he was celebrating turning over a new leaf. After dinner Adam walked Sally to her door in the Athletic Club. As he said goodnight, he kissed her.
That kiss made Sally feel some things. This “straight and narrow” Adam is attractive to her, and they do share a complicated history. She has told him that they don’t have a future together, but she is interested in this new Adam.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: No Future with Nick?
When Sally and Nick “have it out”, she says that she is really falling in love with him. But that doesn’t seem to be legit. Honestly, Nick is dependable. He is caring, kind and dependable. He is older and more mature.
With Nick things are safe and comfortable, but he doesn’t seem to be the true love of her life. She needs to wake up and realize it.
Adam is difficult. He is dangerous and can be dark and unpredictable. But he really wants to turn things around and prove himself to his friends and family. No one is giving him any benefit of the doubt at this point.
EVERY single person thinks he is up to his old tricks, and no one is willing to give him a chance. But Sally’s heart obviously feels connected to this Adam.
Maybe it is time for Sally to be honest and admit that she really wants Adam. She should not keep stringing Nick along but should let him go on his way. Do you agree? Do Adam and Sally really belong together?
