‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants to take the easy way out, even if it is wrong. When she has the perfect solution placed in front her, she avoids it because it will take too much work. When will Phyllis ever learn?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Need to Keep Her Nose Clean
Phyllis has been in a lot of trouble recently. She faked her death and she tried to pin it on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Then she killed Stark in self-defense.
She was able to beat charges for this, but she does owe money to the insurance company. Stark cashed out a $2 million life insurance policy on her and she doesn’t know where he hid the money. She must pay this back.
Her son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) offers her a way to do this, but it will take a lot of work. He invites her to come and work for him at Omegasphere. She will have to work hard, and it will take a lot of time, but it is a way to take care of her debt without breaking the law.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A More Appealing Offer
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) offers Phyllis a more appealing offer, but it is one that could land her in a heap of trouble. Trouble is not what Phyllis needs but is something she can’t seem to stay away from.
McCall wants to take revenge on the Abbott family, and he has offered to hire Phyllis to hack in and get all of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) financial records. With a click of a few buttons, Phyllis can get all her debt paid off. She rationalizes that she isn’t going to do anything bad with the information. That’s all on Tucker.
The problem is, she is doing something wrong, breaking into Billy’s private records. Additionally, Billy saw her as she went up to Tucker’s suite at the Athletic Club to seal this deal. He knows she is up to something and is watching Tucker like a hawk. She’s already busted.
