‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is not ready to walk on the straight and narrow yet. She has to take care of a problem. The only way to do that is be her old sneaky scheming self for a little while. She doesn’t really want to, but she knows that is what she has to do to win.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: So Much Mess
Y&R’s Phyllis has made a mess of everything. She decided to fake her death with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). When they faked her death, they framed Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for her “murder”. Diane was arrested and went to jail.
Phyllis attended her memorial service in disguise. She saw her children grieving and she realized that she could not move away from them forever. It was too much to ask. Stark had money for her to take and disappear. But when she refused, he worried that she would blame him, and he’d go back to prison.
Stark decided to kill Phyllis since she was “dead” anyway. When he attacked her, she fought back and killed him. Instead of calling the cops right away and claiming coercion and self-defense, she dumped the body and went on the run. Now she is facing all of these charges because she faked her death and killed Stark.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A Pause on Straight and Narrow
Phyllis returned and turned herself in when she was promised a “witness” who would help her defense. She is really apologetic and is not bitter and angry. She wants to build better relationships with her family, and she wants to help her children. She wants to be a different Phyllis.
But there is a problem. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is the one who found the EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) and got him to agree to testify on Phyllis’ behalf.
He is supposed to testify that it was self-defense and he witnessed Phyllis fight Stark off. Tucker is threatening Phyllis. She has to help Tucker and Ashley get rid of Diane, or EMT Carson will disappear.
Phyllis Summers that she needs get some “dirt” on Tucker McCall. Right now, Tucker has her life in her hands, and she needs some ammunition to fight back against him. What do you think she is going to do? What is the “old” Phyllis going to do to get the upper hand over Tucker?
