‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that something big is going to go down at the Genoa City Gala and Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) will play a part.
It is the night when she and her partner in crime, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) plan to take down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Phyllis went to look for something of Diane’s that she could steal. It seemed like Stark and Phyllis were going to run some kind of frame scheme similar to the one that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergeman) and Phyllis tried on Stark.
When Phyllis popped into the Abbott place to allegedly meet Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), she started digging around in Diane’s purse and found her engagement ring. Before Phyllis went to the Abbot’s, Diane saw Stark and Phyllis together and she said that she had exciting news to share.
Now they know what that is. Phyllis knows that Jack and Diane will announce this to everyone at the gala, so they need to take action that will get rid of Diane once and for all. How far are they willing to go?

Summer also finds out from her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that Phyllis lied to them when she told them that Stark was out of the country. Kyle heard from Diane that Phyllis is working with Stark.
Summer is furious and heart broken. Her mother continually disappoints her, and she believes she really can’t trust Phyllis.
While this was yet another situation that served to drive Phyllis and Summer farther away from each other, Summer hasn’t even learned yet that her mother used her as an excuse to enter the Abbott house and snoop. She is trying to use Summer in any way she can as she tries to get revenge on Diane.
