‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers has provided a sneak peek into the plans of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). They are planning to get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in a spectacular manner at the Gala.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Framing Diane?

It seems that Phyllis and Stark are going to try to frame Diane in a big way. Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) recently tried to frame Stark for stealing jewelry from Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas).

It did not really work out as they planned. The cover-up was blown, and Stark was released. When Stark and Phyllis make plans, they talk about getting Diane back so well that she never recovers. They discuss doing the same thing to her that she did to them.

But, in the past Diane framed Phyllis for her own death and disappeared. It seems like Phyllis and Stark are thinking on these lines as they talk about doing it “even better” than Diane did.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Acting Skills

Phyllis has really put on the emotion during the Gala. She talked with her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and comes to tears, and she does the same with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

They both think she is coming unhinged. If Phyllis and Stark manage to pull this off and trick everyone, will Daniel and Summer feel remorseful about Phyllis’ “last words” to them?  Or will her last moments of drama and emotion make them even more suspicious of its veracity?

It is hard to believe that anyone will think Diane capable of murder, so Phyllis and Stark are going to have to do a very good job of setting this up. It may be too easy to poke holes in their plan and they may find themselves in even more trouble.

What do you think? Is this the plan Phyllis and Stark have in mind? How will they frame Diane? Do you think they will convince people that she did this? Leave your comments below.
