There is a lot of history in Genoa City with the different families and their squabbles, but there has always been one outcast that gave them all migraines and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are glad to see the old Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) back.
She’s been on and off the last few years as she tried to walk the line and be a respectable businesswoman, but after she got tied up in faking her death and had to survive she reverted to her old self.
It makes sense since It’s often survival of the fittest in many situations, and Phyllis is one of the best survivors out there.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – A common goal
Throughout her time in Genoa City there have been a couple of men that always caught Phyllis’ attention and caused her to up her game.
Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) tops the list simply because he ended up being in Phyllis’ first love triangle with her arch nemesis Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) back in the 1990s.
She managed to steal Danny away from Cricket, and now that she’s single again, Phyllis is up to her old tricks.
So far, she’s done everything she could think of to drive a wedge between Danny and Cricket in the hopes Danny won’t have a choice but to choose her, but they’re older now and Danny doesn’t seem interested in any of her drama.
Unfortunately for him, she takes that as a challenge.

To be fair, Danny can’t keep his head on straight as he always ends up falling for her at some point and Phyllis knows it. It’s like feeding a disease in the hope it’ll go away instead of growing stronger.
Because of that, it’s been fun watching her torment Cricket as she tries to work her magic again and it has ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers wondering how close is she to stepping over her sanity line?
It’s not like she doesn’t have a history of going off the deep end before as she tried to run Cricket and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) down with her car before their wedding, and even put a venomous snake for them during their honeymoon.
Few are as crafty as Phyllis when there’s something she wants, and we’re curious how far she’ll go to get Danny. We suspect it’s not even about Danny but sticking it to Cricket for trying to throw her in jail for a crime she committed.
