‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will uncover a shocking discovery at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) private estate in Nice, France.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis And Sharon Were Held Captive Together In An Abandoned Mental Facility
Whatever it is they stumble upon, it will make them relive their traumatic memories from when they were held hostage together at the abandoned mental facility.
Y&R fans saw Phyllis have a panic attack while trying to find her way through the maze. It was too similar to what she felt when she was being held captive by Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins).
He trapped the two of them together and forced them to play “games” in which they had to save each other’s lives. Understandably, the maze would trigger Phyllis’s anxiety.
Since this jaunt to meet “Aristotle Dumas” will apparently involve a “murder mystery” of some kind, we have to wonder if Phyllis and Sharon find a corpse.
Then again, they could also realize that Dumas is watching them on surveillance, just as Martin did.
On Friday, June 27th, Phyllis and Sharon both experience a traumatic revelation that brings back their shared PTSD.
It doesn’t help that even prior to being held hostage by Martin, they both had their separate traumas.
For Sharon, it was Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and the tag team from hell, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise). For Phyllis, it was Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Sharon was forced to kill Cameron before he could kill her daughter, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Phyllis had to kill Jeremy before he could assault and kill her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Does Chance End Up The Unfortunate Victim In The Upcoming Murder Mystery
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), an ex-husband to both Phyllis and Sharon, may need to play knight in shining armor to the ladies once they witness whatever horror is about to come.
The former enemies have had some tension recently due to Sharon’s jealousy over Phyllis’s friendship. However, Sharon has been misconstruing the situation.
The two women may need to help each other when they make this unsettling discovery. Depending on who the victim is, they may need to lean on each other for support.
Rumors are swirling that Phyllis and Sharon have discovered one of their party guests has been killed. We have a hunch that the unlucky victim is Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Conner Floyd is basically swapping characters and soaps with Billy Flynn, who now plays Cane. Floyd will soon go to Days of Our Lives and play Flynn’s former character, Chad DiMera.
It would be very soapy if Y&R took the opportunity to maximize the drama and have Chance go out in the most shocking way possible.
We first wondered if Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) would fall prey to whoever this mysterious culprit is. After learning that Conner Floyd is leaving, that’s our best guess.
It’s entirely possible that Phyllis and Sharon find a dead body hidden in the maze on Cane’s property. Phyllis and Sharon may be in for a huge shock that could retraumatize them once this murder mystery storyline begins.
