‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re all set to kick off a new week with some party crashing that may fall short of the crashing part.
It’s a big day for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as they’ll renew their vows among friends and family, so there’s bound to be something that goes wrong.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 9: Conquest in sight
Well, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) has her eyes set on a new conquest and she’s going to step up her game a little bit when she talks to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about his new position.
It’ll be the typical small talk between friends, and Summer will be happy he’s behind a desk instead of risking his life. She doesn’t want her “friend” to get hurt.
Sounds totally legit and ‘Young and the Restless’ wonder how long Chance and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will tolerate this or acknowledge it for what it is?
It’ll definitely frustrate Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s hopes that she and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get back together, but Nikki’s got other things to concern herself with at the moment.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 9: Nikki makes her rounds
Nikki is protective of anyone she cares about, and that includes Jack, so when she gets a moment to talk with Diane, we expect she’ll offer her congratulations, but also a warning.
Nikki may be willing to have a truce for Jack’s sake, but she’ll inform Diane if she does anything to hurt him Nikki will make her life a living hell.
It’s a threat Diane will take seriously, but there’s something more troubling about to happen when Tucker McCall (Trevor St, John) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) pop in.
Nikki will ask Audra what she’s doing there, and she’ll say Kyle invited her. More than that, she’ll stand up to Nikki and inform her that she likes spending time with Kyle and if that’s a problem then they have an issue.
We’ve been thinking Audra does have feeling for Kyle, but the fact Tucker is making her do this gives us reason to wonder.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 9: Beware enemies bearing gifts
While Audra is playing rough with Nikki, Jack and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will attempt to deal with Tucker when he arrives with a gift.
He’ll say it’s a peace offering, but we all know different. The trick here is figuring what he hopes to accomplish. There’s little doubt he wants to use Billy in some way, so it may be a divide and conquer.
Either way, this should prove interesting.
