‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that someone who battles alcohol addiction is susceptible to the liquid demon. Sadly, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is collapsing because of the despicable machinations of Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk).
The dastardly plan Jordan exacted was intended to kill multiple Newman family members and her supposed nephew, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). But it was thwarted, in part, by Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) providing an antidote for the poison their intended victims were given.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Jordan Howard Is Not Done
Zenk’s character volunteered the reasons that fueled her revenge plan. She said her late sister, Eve Howard (Margaret Mason), was driven mad by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
The plan of attack is a long revenge game. It is a stretch to believe that a villain would have plotted payback since the ’90s and formed her niece since Grace was a child to do so. But it is fair to accept that Jordan would target Nikki because she knows that will hit Victor hard.
However, this is a soapy scenario. So, the audience can choose to follow the plot where it leads. But viewers may soon grow discontented if Jordan is allowed to lurk in Genoa City, Wisconsin, past Christmas. Ideally, Zenk’s character will be dealt with before then so a happy holiday season can be enjoyed.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Claire Grace’s Legal Predicament Is Tough
Thankfully for Claire, the people she believes are her parents want to help her. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole want to determine if Jordan’s claim that she is their daughter is genuine.
Cole told Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) that he could obtain evidence from the lake house in Redmond, Oregon. Whatever Cole gets can be provided to a laboratory to determine if Claire is his and Victoria’s assumed deceased daughter, Eve Nicole Howard.
Michael is a great lawyer. Claire provided the antidote and information about Jordan. Both factors should help Erin’s character avoid jail. If she proves to be a member of the Newman family, then she should certainly walk.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Nikki Newman Needs Help
Nikki is attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. But she feels compelled to drink and is doing so.
Hopefully, Nikki’s sad actions will be witnessed and stopped before she needs to be admitted into a treatment program at a facility. That would dampen the rapidly approaching Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
The mind games Jordan is playing through Nikki’s smartphone represent additional crimes. Projecting that evidence as helping to provoke Jordan’s capture, arrest, and imprisonment must be more than hope on Y&R.
