Nick Newman is certainly someone who likes to be in control and stay in control. And he also likes to have a leading lady by his side. Seeing how he is now dipping his toes in the political sphere, Nick could use someone that could play the part of his stable partner. But the only question is – who?

‘Young and the Restless’ fans know that Nick Newman has always had a very rocky, if not interesting relationship with his ex, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She might not be the ideal candidate for a new girlfriend or partner, but she definitely fits the mold. And seeing how both Nick and Phyllis always have some sort of agenda on their mind, they could definitely use their supposed ‘relationship’ to each other’s advantage. Actually, make that ‘working’ relationship.
So, does this mean that Nick should think about hooking up with Phyllis Summers again? Maybe. It would definitely make things interesting, especially now that his ex Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has gone back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam would most definitely be intrigued, seeing how he’s been spending a lot of time with Phyllis behind the scenes.
