‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) has some options on the table that may not please his girlfriend, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Nick doesn’t have a job right now and he has to decide what he will do next.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Temporary Leave?
Y&R’s Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has big plans for her boyfriend, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She wants him with her at the top of Newman Enterprises.
To get that done, she needed her brother Nick to move out of his position. She saw her opportunity when Nick was facing some difficult situations. She decided he needed a “temporary leave of absence” to manage his personal affairs.
While she said “temporary”, no one really believes that is what she intends. She already dissolved Nick’s support staff team. Victoria has moved Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) into the CEO position at Newman Media. She has everyone where she wants them right now and is not going to bring Nick back.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Option with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)?
Nick’s ex-wife, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), has just discovered that the villain Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) left his company to her upon his death. She destroyed everything else in a box of personal effects that Cameron left to her, except for the deed to his company.
Sharon is considering how to use this company for good. She may decide to run the company and donate the proceeds to charity or sell it and donate the proceeds. Either way, she wants to use it for good.
Sharon may need Nick to help her with this project. It is a big deal to take over an entire company, sight unseen. She may need to rely on his business sense so that she makes the best decisions.
What will Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) think if Nick to work with his ex-wife? Nick and Sharon have spent some tense moments together recently. Will Sally feel threatened by this?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Option with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)
Y&R’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is begging Nick to help his brother, Adam. Adam is trying to rebuild McCall Unlimited, and he wants to get into position to take over Newman Media. Obviously, Victor doesn’t want him to do this. Victoria is already planning to tear Adam’s competition apart.
Victor wants Adam to be successful at McCall, but not at the expense of his own company. He is begging Nick to join forces with Adam and help him make good decisions with his newly acquired company. Will Nick be able to turn his father down? Or will he decide to join Adam and go up against Victoria?
Sally won’t love this option either because she loathes Adam. He is the one who made the decision to save Sally’s life and not the baby’s life, and she is furious with him. She won’t talk to him, see him, or respond to his letter. She wants nothing to do with him. But, if Nick works with him, what will that mean for Sally?
