Things are getting pretty intense in the Newman family and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers expect that to continue for the foreseeable future as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s plan will unravel before his eyes.

The funny part about this is it’s all his own doing. If he wouldn’t try to manipulate his children constantly and put them in a position to want to remove him then life would be a lot more peaceful for him.

And more boring for us but we’re sure the writers could come up with something new if given the chance.

Although it looks like they may have in this case as it’s not the typical Newman storyline we’ve grown used to over the last few years where it’s been wash, rinse, and repeat nonstop.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Breaking new ground

Now that Victor’s come clean with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), we have to suspect that he knows it’s only a matter of time until Nick tells Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

It makes sense that he hasn’t budged on wanting to tell Victoria when Nick tried to convince him to do so and when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) begged him to.

May be an image of 1 person and suit

It’s also why we think he called Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as a final test. Victor has said he doesn’t trust him or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but he could’ve been lying to Nikki on that.

If he doesn’t, then he’s going to tell Nate’s uncovered who is after him. Depending on how Nate reacts Victor will think he’s the betrayer, or he’ll wait and see if Nate delivers his message to Victoria.

‘Young and the Restless’ have a feeling that no matter what Nate does he’s going to lose as Victor doesn’t want him in Newman Enterprises.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Blinded by his own ego

There seems little doubt that Victor is blinded by his ego in some ways, but he also knows who is most likely to turn on him and what Nate does will determine that.

Of course, if he expects Nick to tell Victoria he’s been playing them, we don’t see what good this will do unless he expects Victoria to come to him and praise him for being so wise and throw Nate under the bus.

    No photo description available.

We don’t think she will, but it’ll be interesting to see if Nate has a leg to stand on with either of them since he may keep information from Victoria to keep her from going after Victor.

And that could go either way in Victor’s eyes.

Add to that Adam may come forward and tell Victor everything he told Sally Spectra (Corutney Hope), and things will get immensely more complicated.

The thing Victor may not have thought of is Nikki will be right and Victoria will have enough of his games. She’s already expressed doubting whether she wants to be the head of the Newman empire to Nate, so there’s a good chance she’ll walk away.

Victor could get what he tried to avoid and deserves — an empty house by his own hand.

How do you think things will work out? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
