‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to get a new week started with some fun spoilery goodies.

The new year is nearly here, and Genoa City will be getting ready to celebrate and rock in the New Year!

Monday, December 30 looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as everyone gets ready to party.

Of course, there’s got to be something else to keep the storylines moving. Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) will ramp up their revenge plots.

They’re going to drug Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) respectively.

Since Ian and Jordan probably plan to pin their disappearance on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), it makes sense.

Ian wanting Tessa is to bring Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) back into the fold. Oddly enough, it looks like she’s going to see Ian kidnapping her wife.

    What will she do?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, December 30: Ringing in the New Year

Few celebrate holidays better than Genoa City, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised they’re going all out.

It’s typical and we love seeing it. But it won’t go so smoothly for some.

Sharon and her family will make plans to stay together and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will want to be there to protect them.

Since the family hasn’t made a wise decision in the last year, they won’t end the year making a smart one.

We expect Nick will want them all to go together and stick together more than not. So of course, they’ll all go separately, especially Sharon.

Once again, this one is squarely on Nick’s shoulders given his concern.

Their bad decisions will lead to Sharon being knocked out with chloroform when she gets out of her car.

As for Tessa, Ian will drug her water and then chloroform her, and that’s when Mariah will show up an see him.

Mariah will make sense since we expect she’ll be there to pick up Tessa or help her get things ready.

But we doubt her seeing Ian will be part of Ian’s plan, and it’ll add a whole new level of difficulty to his and Jordan’s revenge plans.

Or maybe he’ll see Mariah and put the next phase of his plan into action to bring her back into his fold?

How will Mariah seeing Ian change things? Let us know in the comments below.
