‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has his limit. He is tired of getting pushed around by others in Genoa City and is standing up for himself.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Begging Fiancé
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is desperate. He can’t find anyone to help represent his fiancé, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). He has been asking but no one is stepping up since they know about Diane’s past.
Jack begs Michael for his help. He doesn’t believe that anyone else can represent Diane. Michael knows all about the people involved and the situation.
He was even in the room when Phyllis “died”. Michael doesn’t believe that he can help out because Phyllis was his best friend. He believes that a conflict of interest and he knows that his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) also will not approve.
He declines Jack’s request a few times but then finally he ends up choosing to help Diane. Why did he change his mind?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Pushed Around
It seems that Michael has a limit to how much he is willing to let himself be pushed around. Everyone in town thinks that Diane is guilty, and that Michael should stay far away from the case. They also don’t hesitate to express this to him.
Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) weigh in and tell him he should not even consider such a thing. Victor even goes as far as to threaten Michael’s job at Newman. He says that he will not give Michael any time off to defend Diane and will have to fire him if he doesn’t come to work.
While Michael said “no” a few times, he seems to get tired of people telling him what he can’t do. He does believe that Diane is innocent until proven guilty and deserves good representation.
He also isn’t totally convinced of her guilt either and has an open mind. For that reason, he seems to be annoyed at being pushed around and being told to leave it alone. He tells Jack yes and agrees to help Diane.
