‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers thinks we’re going to have some good news in Genoa City for once, and it’s going to be timely.
There’s little doubt we’re heading into the final episodes of Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams)’s days on the show are numbered, if a video tribute to her is any indication.
It’s been a great ride and we wish Marla the best, and ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s awesome that her final storyline involves a hidden/lost gem.
This is where we think Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will come to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s rescue by finding the missing gem in the safety deposit box her father left her.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 16: End of the mystery?
It makes sense that the gem Jack and the rest have been so interested in finding is concluded before Dina passes away. At least, we hope it is.
By finding it and giving it to Jack, it’ll give us all a great opportunity to say goodbye to an awesome character and thank Marla for all her hard work over the years.
We may be jumping the gun, but we think Jack and the family will be at Marla’s side with the gem to see on final gleam of happiness in her eyes before she passes.
It’ll be a great angle that her message to Jack was heard, and she can leave with a happy heart for being a real mother at least once in recent memory.
This will no doubt be a hard moment for anyone, but for the time being we’ll be able to celebrate the Abbotts gaining a final victory before the end comes.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 16: Ashley confides in Victor
This could be for any number of things, but ‘Young and the Restless’ expect it to be along the lines of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) feeling some of the stress of not being truly happy.
While this could be a stretch, it’d make sense that the message for Jack touched her and she’ll go to one of the people she trusts and has been close with over the years.
We don’t expect anything nefarious out of this encounter like she’ll try to take Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) or anything like that.
In fact, we expect it to be the opposite as she’ll express how she’s happy he has someone and she’ll need to unload some of the pressure and emotion of dealing with Dina’s situation.
This could be a tough episode, but it’s going to be a nice break from the Newman drama.
