‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that intending to swap one kidnapped person for another is risky. However, Jordan Howard’s (Colleen Zenk) world is turning so rapidly that she can’t think straight.
Devoted daytime fans caught the reference to the beloved steamer, As The World Turns. Of course, Zenk portrayed Barbara Ryan on ATWT for thirty-five years (1975-2010). She was a three-time (2001, 2002, 2011) Daytime Emmy Award nominee in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.
Last seen on ATWT’s series finale in 2010, Zenk appeared in 1,836 episodes. That remarkable number ranks her fourth among the soap opera’s all-time cast members.

Kudos to inspired casting, with the instinct to have Zenk portray Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) aunt spot on. Jordan’s rotten behavior and impressively depraved facial expressions are delicious in daytime.
The gutsy character Zenk is portraying entered the Newman family’s home turf. Then, after arriving, she staged a remote location and drew the authorities to it after reporting herself.
The above was followed by disguising herself to resemble a version of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), with the blonde locks exaggerated and flowing. Credit to the costume department because Zenk’s face did not look like Jordan in that outfit.

Jordan brazenly entered Genoa City Memorial Hospital’s psychiatric ward in platinum attire. Viewers suspended disbelief when accepting that she had no problem accessing her niece’s room.
Taking Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) out of a monitored facility was risky. Viewers were not shown that sequence, leaving open the possibility that Jordan drugged Claire or is still controlling her.
Purposely having Nikki go to the location where Claire is supposedly being kept for an exchange makes little sense. But Nikki is drunk and can not reason.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Claire Grace Ready To Be A Newman
It feels like Jordan will fail to achieve her goal. She wanted to kill the Newman family and her nephew but failed. So, getting rid of Nikki and potentially Claire is a non-starter.
Erin appears to be a regular contract player. Zenk’s character is in the villain category, which means Jordan’s stay will likely be short-term.
Claire’s parents told her they had confirmation of her genetic identity. So, she knows she is part of the Newman family. That makes Jordan her enemy. Erin’s character is best positioned to play hero by stopping Aunt Jordan on Y&R.
