‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers cannot be confirmed 100 percent. However, the September 26th episode may be the end of Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). It is potentially the last time we see Vail Bloom grace our screens on the soap.

Heather, the daughter of Paul Williams and Heather Stevens, was first seen in 1979; however, Vail played Heather from 2007 to 2010. Eden Riegel played Heather from 2010 to 2011 and Jennifer Landon in 2012.  Currently, Vail has been playing Heather from 2023 to present.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: How Can Sharon Come Back From This?

Y&R took the “no comment” stance and hasn’t verified either way. If the character, Heather, really did take her last breath, how can Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) bounce back from that?

'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers Will Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) Go Rogue Releases New Year's Eve Photo To Get Back With Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei)

Sharon has been clearly unstable for months, and no one in Genoa City has tried too hard to get her the help she needs. They constantly asked her about her medications, which she stopped taking.

Sharon went to Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) and Heather’s apartment to poison Daniel’s whiskey. She talks it through with the dead man inside Sharon’s mind, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), who warned her that if she got caught, she wouldn’t be able to walk away.

She decided not to go through with it, but as Sharon went to leave, she encountered Heather, who was about to walk into her home.

Heather finds Sharon in her apartment

Heather prompted her to answer the first logical question, “What are you doing here?” When Sharon provided a bogus response, things escalated quickly.

The two were involved in a heated argument when Heather went to call the police. That’s when Sharon knocked Heather down. Heather said to Sharon, “You are out of your mind.” Sharon blacked out and apparently killed Heather.

She woke up on the couch and saw Heather on the floor. Sharon went over to her, trying to get her to wake up, and of course, she didn’t.

Sharon panicked, and the Cameron Kirsten that exists in her mind urged her to “clean up the mess,” meaning remove all traces of evidence linking her to the murder, leave the apartment, and dump the body.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Was Out Of Her Mind

If this really happened, and it’s not a dream, how on earth could Sharon redeem herself? She won’t be able to get back together with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) since she’ll either end up in a mental institution or prison for life.

We hope this was just a dream because while shocking and compelling it would be if it weren’t, Sharon can’t come back from this.

Sharon is a major character on the soap. If she did kill Heather, how do you make Sharon someone the audience could root for again?

Stranger things have happened on soaps. Many soap characters have been killed in cold blood, but the show still somehow finds a way to make that character redeemable.

It’s happened plenty of times on plenty of soaps. Not to mention, Sharon has a valid reason for snapping: she was off her medicine and out of her mind.

It must be stressed that this may be one of the worst portrayals of mental illness ever on a soap. Sharon would need to be a lot more than bipolar to commit a crime of such magnitude. Then, have the forethought to clean it up meticulously. Is Vail Bloom truly out at Y&R? Stay tuned to find out!!
