The moment rejoiced on The Young and the Restless’ Instagram page where they showed a photo of the amazing actress with the following caption, “Please join us in wishing the amazing @real_jchapman a very happy birthday! 🎁🎉 #YR”
The gifted performer turned 71 today; she was born on November 15, 1951, in Greenville, South Carolina. In the spaghetti western Sette donne per I MacGregor or Up the MacGregor’s!, Chapman made her acting debut. even though her roles in various daytime soap operas are what she is most well-known for.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: ICYMI Judith Chapman (Gloria Abbott) Celebrated Her Birthday!
On the eye network’s As the World Turns, she portrayed Natalie Bannon, a con artist who won over Tom Hughes and persuaded him to pop the question. She had never played a soap opera before. In 1983, Judith Chapman‘s work on Ryan’s Hope was well-received.
The producers of The Young and the Restless hired Chapman in 2005 to take over Gloria Fisher from outgoing actress Joan Van Ark. For the actress who had stepped in for Y&R star Jess Walton in the 1980s when she was unable to play Jill due to illness, it was sort of a comeback. Since her debut on Y&R on January 17, 2005, Chapman has intermittently appeared in the series. She briefly returned to DAYS in 2019, taking the role of Diana Colville from Genie Francis, who had previously played it on General Hospital (Laura Collins).
