‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) is celebrating her 34th birthday on Sunday, January 7th. Camryn is well known for her role as Mariah, the daughter of Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) and the partner of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). She has been in this role since 2014.

Y&R’s Camryn Grimes was born in Van Nuys, California in 1990. Her parents, Preston Lee and Heather Grimes were both in the business, involved in acting and producing. Her uncle, Scott Grimes, is a famous actor and singer who has been in a wide variety of roles. One of seven, Camryn knows all about big families and showbiz.
Camryn started on The Young and the Restless in the role of Cassie Newman in 1997. She was the youngest person ever to win a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series when she won the award for that role in 2000 at only ten years of age. In 2005, Cassie died in a horrific car accident and was written off the show.
Grimes returned to Y&R in 2014 as Mariah Copeland, who turned out to be Cassie’s twin. At this point she is in a relationship with Tessa, and they adopted a child named Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie & Millie Ingle). Currently this couple is dealing with Aria’s apparent lack of hearing and is trying to find her the help she needs.

There have been many developments in Camryn’s personal life. In 2022 Camryn was engaged on her birthday. Her fiancé, Brock Powell, is a voice-over actor. They planned to get married this year, but they found out that she was pregnant. Their son, Bridger Elias Foster was born on December 13th, 2023.
The couple moved into a new home in 2023 and have now welcomed a child into their lives. For that reason, the wedding plans are on hold. They are considering tying the knot in 2025. It’s been an amazing year personally for Camryn and we hope that she will continue to have professional success on Y&R. Happy Birthday Camryn!
