Who’s the new hunk in town? Why, its Tyler Johnson! The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that he has been cast on Y&R as new guy Theo Vanderway and is set to debut on the June 3rd episode, which falls on a Monday, for those of you who want to make your calendars. According to what little information we can gather about this new character, the Young and the Restless comings and goings relate that Theo Vanderway is a colleague of Kyle’s. Is this who they’re headed to New York to see in the most recent spoilers or is it some other connection to Kyle that brings him to town. Guess we’ll have to waited with baited breath ’till June 3rd to find out.

Some of you are probably asking the question, “Where have I seen this guy before?” and the answer to that is simple, once upon a time he starred in the show Gossip Girl as a character named Jenns, he was also in 30 Rock, The Haunting of Sharon Tate, and even in the blockbuster MIB franchise in the third installment, MIB 3. However it looks like so far he hasn’t had any leading man roles, but that’s hardly a commentary on his ability. One can’t judge what one hasn’t seen.
Here’s hoping that the Y&R writers will give this guy a chance and give him a role he can thoroughly sink his teeth into. Its about time we got some fresh meat on Y&R and I’m sure the fans are looking forward to whatever the writers have cooked up for this new character. Whether it be a story about a double-crossed former business associate, or a potential new love triangle with Summer as his leading lady (or maybe a different girl altogether, who knows?), we’re looking forward to how this new guy is going to fit into Genoa City’s dynamic.
Considering how ticked off Summer is at Kyle right now, a love triangle isn’t too far off the mark as far as our speculations go. She could totally want to make Kyle jealous and make a play for this new guy, and who would blame her? This guy is a bundle of yum! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
