‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is livid and ready to figure out what happened to her mother, however, the one thing that we all know that she doesn’t is that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive and well and has been hiding out in a motel room.
How long will this last though and what will Summer’s reaction be like?
Summer has been going around and trying to figure out what’s going on, and she’s set on getting to the bottom of it. As far as she knows, her mother is dead and she has a pretty good idea that it was Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) that killed her.
Though, we’re not too sure how she is going to prove anything, especially without a body, or probable cause. It seems to be a losing battle.

Phyllis on the other hand doesn’t seem to have any issue abandoning her children and faking her death. This is strange as she literally had a decades-long vendetta against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for doing the same exact thing. It’s weird how this double standard doesn’t seem to affect her.
Now, we suspect that Phyllis is actually going to be double-crossing Stark, but we can’t be sure of anything, except that when the truth does actually come out, Summer is probably going to be pretty damn pissed.
When she realizes that Phyllis faked her death and is actually alive, she will completely flip out and blame her for a lot of drama that has happened recently. Not to mention she’ll probably compare her to Diane.
It is not going to be a good day for Phyllis when she finds out, cuz while Summer will obviously be happy that her mother is alive, she is going to be even more upset that she was lied to and made to believe her mother was dead.
