Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) recently decided to shake things up in a big way at Newman Enterprises. He decided that Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) would become the CEO of Newman Media. Then Audra, who was the CEO, would be moved to the COO position.
Nikki met with Audra after this rumor spread. Nikki said that Audra could remain at Newman Media as COO if certain conditions were met. The conditional offer depends on Audra’s personal life, which isn’t really a legal move. But Audra must know by now that working for the Newman’s always has some kind of cost.
Nikki informs Audra that she can only stay at Newman Media if she cuts off fling with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Kyle is in the process of getting a divorce from Nikki’s granddaughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Nikki doesn’t like that Summer is in distress and wants to shut down Kyle’s affair. Nikki believes that Summer and Kyle deserve a chance, even if Kyle is an Abbott.

When Audra tells Kyle about the deal from Nikki, he is pretty upset. How can Nikki dictate Audra’s personal relationships? Their affair really has nothing to do with Nikki and how Audra will do her job at Newman Media.
Both Kyle and Audra agree that they don’t really want to cut off their great escapade. They are having too much fun in between the sheets and no Nikki Newman is going to stop them.
Audra decides to lie to Nikki’s face as she agrees to her terms. Nikki announces how integrity and honesty are important to her, as the woman across from her is smugly going to continue to do whatever she wants.
How long will it take Nikki to find out that Audra has no intention of breaking off her trysts with Kyle? How will Nikki find out and what will she do in response?
