‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out in style with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Friday, September 5 is going to be an interesting one as lines will be crossed and cant’ be undone.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will decide to tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he has a new job offer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, September 5: Victor Wants Michael to Spy on Cane; Cane Sends Phyllis Packing After she Chases Lily off; Adam Disagrees with Nick and Victoria Not Wanting Victor to have Cane’s AI Tech
He’ll admit it’s with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and he wanted to be the first to tell Victor out of respect.
Victor will see it as Michael trying to ingratiate himself once more. As such, he’ll want Michael to spy on Cane for him.
Not to be outdone with this move, Victor will also tell his children about Cane’s AI program and say he wants it. He won’t admit what for, but it’ll cause a rift between his children.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) think it’s a bad idea, but Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will side with Victor.
Speaking of Cane, he’s going to make inroads with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) until Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives.
Phyllis will be Phyllis, and a furious Cane will ban her from talking about his personal life.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, September 5: Victor’s plans take root
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Victor will have the upper hand. After all, the writers always make sure he’s got the goods on everyone even when there’s no way for him to know something.
It’s that habit that will give him knowledge of Cane’s new AI program that can decimate a company. He’ll tell his children about it and how he wants it.
After he proclaims he nerfed Cane.
Among themselves, Nick and Victoria won’t like the idea of anyone having the AI program, especially their father. Adam will be the good son and agree with Victor that they can’t go backwards.
We’re sure this will end well.

It looks like Phyllis’s aggressive approach will finally cost her when she interrupts his private conversation with Lily to talk business.
He’ll remind her that he shut that down, but the damage will be done and Lily will think he’s lying and storm off.
He’ll rip into her about staying out of his private life and storm off. Phyllis is fun, but she can be a cancer more times than not.
