The episode for Friday, May 23 isn’t good news for the many suffering Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fatigue. Yep, it’s Victor centric, and things won’t go his way in this one.

Lauren Fenmore (Tracy Bregman) will have lunch with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and things will get interesting.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, May 23: Lauren Threatens to Kill Victor if Michael Doesn’t Quit; Michael Quits and Victor Rages and Never Wants to Hear his Name Again

They’ll talk about Lauren’s frustration with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) working for Victor. Nikki will feel her pain.

They both expect Victor will do his best to convince Michael to stay, and Lauren will shock Nikki when she promises to kill Victor if Michael doesn’t quit.

It looks like that won’t be necessary as Michael will officially quit. Victor won’t take it well as he’ll throw a Victor tantrum and won’t want to hear Michael’s name ever again.

His biggest issue is Dumas is ready to strike and he needs Michael, but Michael is finally putting his wife first.

If only Victor was as loyal as he demands from everyone else.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, May 23: Michael is out

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers never expected Michael to actually quit working for Victor. We’re glad he did and now he’ll be able to spend more time with his wife.

Plus, he won’t have to do so many questionable illegal things for Victor.

Of course, Victor won’t believe him at first as he’ll think it’s just Michael posturing.

Victor will want to make it impossible for him to leave, but he’ll learn his promises and threats only go so far.

When Michael leaves, Victor will declare he never wants to hear his name again. We’ll see how long that lasts.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, May 23: Lauren’s promise

Well, Lauren’s definitely had enough of Victor’s antics and abuses toward Michael. He always touts loyalty and respect but only shows it when it serves him.

So, in her frustration, Lauren will tell Nikki she’ll kill Victor if Michael doesn’t quit or Victor lures him back in.

We think she means it and so will Nikki. Nikki knows what it’s like to work with Victor, and it’s a testament to how much she enjoys her life that she puts up with him.

After all, now everyone is gifted a company as a placation tactic.

Luckily, it looks like Lauren won’t have to follow through on her threat, but it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

How badly will Victor Spin out and lash out after this? Let us know in the comments below.
