‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may not be headed to jail yet in connection to Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) accident, she has already suffered a blow.

Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Phyllis set up this elaborate plan to get revenge on Diane. Their goal was to frame her for Phyllis’ death. At this point, no one seems to be seriously entertaining the idea that Diane had anything to do with it.
For the most part, everyone believes that Stark has something to do with the whole thing and there is something fishy about it. This could possibly shift with toxicology results, but perhaps not. There is no way to prove that Diane did anything to harm Phyllis.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Result
Even though the events have not landed Diane in the slammer yet, there definitely have already been ramifications for her. First, her joyful announcement of engagement to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergeman) were spoiled.
Her engagement may be completely called off and she may be ejected from the Abbott mansion. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was already waiting for the couple to give them a piece of her mind.
Now with the news of Phyllis’ death and suspicions of Diane, Ashley may demand that she has to go.
Ashley will probably be accompanied in this by Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). The loss of her mother has devastated her and once the shock wears off, she may be looking for someone to take the blame.
While she has not started pointing fingers yet, she most assuredly will not feel comfortable with Diane’s presence in the home. Even though Diane may be safe for the moment, since all attention is on Stark, she still may lose the possibility of a future with the love of her life.
