‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is not backing down. He is determined that he has to make things right and tell the truth.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sibling Disagreement

At this point in time, no one in Genoa City knows that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is still alive except for her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lainer) and her son Daniel.

Phyllis appeared to Summer and told her the whole story. Summer couldn’t manage it on her own, so she decided to share it with her brother.

Summer is kind of regretting that now. She needed Daniel’s support with the incredibly difficult news, but she also couldn’t bear to see him suffer in grief anymore. He hasn’t quite reacted the way she anticipated though.

Daniel doesn’t feel that it is right to keep all of this a secret. He believes that the truth is always best.

Summer disagrees. She knows that their mother will probably go to jail for a long time if they tell the truth now. They need to figure out a plan first for how to keep their mother safe from the law.

She is not willing to tell anyone until she is sure her mother is safe. She can’t face losing her mother a second time.

Daniel believes that someone in town should be able to help them. He believes that telling the truth is the only way. He also believes that it is wrong for Summer to keep this information from the man she loves, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

His mother is being wrongly charged with a crime that wasn’t committed. He deserves to know the truth now.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Not Much Longer

So far, Summer has been able to keep working on Daniel. She has been able to convince him to not speak yet. But he really does believe that it is wrong to hide this information.

His friend, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) gave him the advice that when he is making a decision, he needs to pay attention to his conscience. His conscience is telling him to be honest.

Daniel has even made it to the door of the Abbott mansion. Will he look for an opportunity to get Kyle on his own and tell him the truth that Summer is hiding? Does a revelation like this ruin Summer’s marriage or will Kyle be as eager to help her as he is to help his own mother?

Will he forgive his wife for hiding the truth from him and causing him pain? What do you think? Is Daniel doing the right thing? Leave your thoughts below!
