‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) still have some regard for each other. Would they be able to put things back together again?

When Kyle stumbles across Summer in the park, it is a bit awkward at first. Summer tells Kyle that maybe they can proceed with the divorce process with Heather Steven’s (Vail Bloom) assistance. She will be in town for a while and may be able to help them out.
Then they start to talk about Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) and their conversation about him turns light-hearted. They love Harrison and enjoy talking about him. It seems for a moment like old times. They are treating each other as the person they loved, without bitterness and frustration.
This is the first time that viewers have seen them share this dynamic. It seems that both of them are able to relate a bit without the hurt and pain impacting their interaction. Could there be hope for this couple, particularly if they decided to get counseling?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Interesting Dynamic
Kyle has been having an affair with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) since he separated from Summer. She has also hired him on at Newman Media. Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) just found out about their affair.
There has been a shuffle at Newman, and Nikki is getting Audra’s job as CEO of Newman Media. Audra is going to be offered the COO title.
Nikki tells Audra that the offer is conditional. She will only let her stay on at Newman Medi as COO if she will break off her affair with Kyle. Nikki wants Kyle and Summer to have a chance. Spoilers indicate that Nikki is also going to confront Kyle directly about what is going on.
This could be a problem though. Kyle might really be turned off by Nikki’s interference in his personal life. Summer has also come to a place where she has accepted Kyle’s decision. She isn’t trying to fight for her marriage.
She still loves him, but she is also in a better place with herself. Does she even want a relationship with Kyle now that he has moved on to Audra? Will Nikki’s involvement help or hurt this couple? What do you think?
