‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that psychological games are intended to defeat an enemy. Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) truly believes Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wronged her deceased sister, Eve Howard (Margaret Mason).
After failing to kill Victor and his family, Jordan attacks from a different angle. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is again the target, but the approach is psychological.

This reversion is different. Nikki did not voluntarily fall off the proverbial wagon. She was pushed into a vat of vodka.
Jordan brainwashed her niece, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). The plan was to have Claire ingratiate herself into Nikki’s life and lure her to the lake house in Redmond, Oregon.
When that goal was accomplished, Nikki was drugged and then connected to an intravenous feeding tube that fed her alcohol. Jordan and Claire knew Nikki had long dealt with alcoholism, making their plot diabolical. Thomas Scott’s character is battling that demon for the first time in five years, with mixed results.

It is good that Nikki told Victor she does feel weak. She also attended an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting a day after taking two drinks at the mansion. That followed her downing a partially full bottle of vodka at the lake house.
Unlike past incidents, Nikki is acknowledging her problem. Talking with Victor about it is also positive. Attending the AA meeting was another good step, as was throwing her drinking glass away.
However, the audience knows that Nikki is at war with herself. She concealed the fact that she drank after arriving home due to shame and guilt.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Jordan Howard Dressed For The Part
Arriving in a black cap and hat was apropos. Jordan wants to be the villain and is. She is on the run from the law but has the audacity to be in Genoa City, Wisconsin, hoping to finish the job.
Claire realizes that her aunt left her legally dead in jail. That reinforced the searing betrayal Erin’s character felt when learning Jordan stole her at birth. Fittingly, Claire’s seeming parents, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), visited her in jail.
Jordan remains focused on completing her mission. Like her deceased sister Eve, she wants to get Victor by torturing his greatest love, Nikki. So, the anonymous calls to her, with haunting music, are playing on Y&R.
