Both Mamie and Tucker have a good point. Why should she control it now if Katherine did not want Jill involved in the company? Well, Victor sold his inherited asset to Jill shortly after the fact.

Jack has been trying to reassure Billy. He did not allow Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to retake Billy’s co-Chief Executive Officer spot. Nevertheless, Jill’s offer is not something that must be considered.

Unbeknownst to Jack, his wife and son are working a side game. Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) convinced Kyle to restart talks with Tucker and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Kyle believes, falsely, that Tucker is not onto him. But viewers know he and Audra suspect Kyle is trying to fool them.
The dangerous effort Kyle keeps Jack dangerously in the dark. Billy could be distracted by his mother’s offer or take it and leave Jabot vulnerable. But if that happened, Kyle would realize his intended goal of being co-CEO again on The Young and the Restless.
